I am a thirty-something mom, who has now been on this journey of motherhood for over 3 years. Now, I no longer struggle with the expectations I have set for myself before coming a mother. However, I am still learning to take each day one step at a time. Hoping that one day my son will look back at his childhood and know that every decision I made was with love.
Wedding Day
My Husband, Rob & I have been married since 2003. Recently, I have stopped referring to him as my first husband and have decided to keep him. He probably appreciates that, but the jury is still out.
We have a son, Dustin, who was born in October 2008 & makes enough mess for 3 children, but can melt your heart with his smile. I think he is already trying to manipulate us, but I may be giving him a little too much credit. With each new skill he learns, he is that much closer to his independence and moving out of my house.

There are no pets in our family because I get tired of their cuteness after about 6 weeks and then wait with eager anticipation for their expiration. Luckily, I do not have the same feeling about my son or my husband, at least not anymore.
